At the beginning of the 20th<\/b> Century this square was built in honor of the spanish general of swiss origins, Teodoro Reding von Biberegg. <\/b><\/p>

Reding was responsible for setting the Porcuna Plan in motion, which, devised by Casta\u00f1os, brought<\/b> them to victory on that glorious day in 1808. In 2008<\/b>, a bronze sculpture<\/b> was inaugurated in honor of this prominent figure in the Battle of Bail\u00e9n.
