This unique route starts in the Plaza Pr\u00edncipes de Asturias<\/b> (Princes of Asturias Square), found next to the Museo de la Batalla de Bail\u00e9n<\/b> (Battle of Bail\u00e9n Museum). This small and cozy park pays tribute to the BRIMZ, Brigada de Guzm\u00e1n el Bueno N.\u00ba X<\/i> (Guzm\u00e1n the Kind Brigade N.\u00ba X)<\/b>, since the town of Bail\u00e9n has a strong bond with the Fuerzas Armadas (Armed Forces). <\/p>\n

Next to this square, there is the Cronista Mat\u00eda de Haro street<\/b> (Chronicler Mat\u00edas de Haro street), a Bail\u00e9n native that has shown us the town\u2019s evolution through history, will take us to gaze at one of the most magnificent parks of our city, the Paseo de las Palmeras<\/b> (Palm trees\u2019 promenade) in which one can find the Monumento Conmemorativo a la Batalla de Bail\u00e9n<\/b> (Commemorative Monument to the Battle of Bail\u00e9n). Behind the monument, the Pl\u00e1cido Fern\u00e1ndez Viagas street<\/b> will guide our journey to take us before the Plaza Yapey\u00fa<\/b> (Yapey\u00fa Square) on its left flank where it connects with the Avenida del Parador<\/b> (Parador Avenue), built to pay tribute to General Jos\u00e9 de San Mart\u00edn<\/b>\u2019s hometown, who played one of the most important parts during the Battle of Bail\u00e9n. Next to it, is the Parque Eduardo Carvajal (Eduardo Carvajal Park, commonly known as \u201cEl Vivero<\/i><\/b>\u201d [The Garden Centre]), that withholds extraordinary botanic variety and the recently discovered Huerta de Arteaga<\/b> (Arteaga\u2019s Vegetable patch).  <\/p>\n

At the end of the Avenida del Parador<\/b>, is the Monument in Honour of Mar\u00eda Bellido<\/b>, Bailen\u2019s heroine, welcoming everyone arriving to the city, as well as telling and reminding us of the importance of the water bearing women during the Battle of Bail\u00e9n. Next to it is the new Parque Europa<\/b> (Europe Park), bearing the old fountain from the Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n<\/b> (Constitution Square), a symbol for Bail\u00e9n\u2019s citizens. <\/p>\n

Another natural space that we will find before us will be the Plaza Spetses<\/b> (Spetses Square), faithful reflection of the union between people. On the other hand, the Plaza de la Cig\u00fce\u00f1as<\/b> (Stork\u2019s Square) will become our next stop to observe the old tower, also a stop for storks, as the very name signals, on their migration. <\/p>\n

Venturing back into the heart of the city, through the Sebasti\u00e1n Elcano Street<\/b>, we will be able to greet the Roman Iberian Goddess (Commonly known as \u201cLa Matrona\u201d <\/i>[The Matron]) in the General Casta\u00f1os Square<\/b>. And so, we find ourselves in the last stretch of our journey, where the oldest square of the city, recently renovated, Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n (Constitution Square, commonly known as \u201cDel ayuntamiento\u201d [Town Hall square or \u201cDel Reloj\u201d [Clock\u2019s square]<\/i><\/b>)<\/i> will be waiting for us, followed by two places dedicated to men of renown in the Battle of Bail\u00e9n, as Mr. Jos\u00e9 de San Mart\u00edn in the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a (Spain\u2019s Square) and Teodoro Reding in the Plaza Reding (Reding Square)<\/b> were. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
