Proof of that would be the publishing of the \u201c<strong>Bando del Buen Gobierno<\/strong>\u201d (Proclamation of Good Government, <strong>early 19th century<\/strong>).<\/p><p>During the <strong>Independence War<\/strong>, in 1808, Reding <strong>leads the Board of M\u00e1laga<\/strong> and is named <strong>General-in-chief of the troops of the Kingdom of Granada<\/strong> and later <strong>Major General of the 1st Division of the Army of Andalusia<\/strong>. The <strong>19th of July of 1808<\/strong> he would play a major role becoming the main architect of the first defeat in open field over the invincible Napoleonic troops after performing some changes to the <strong>Porcuna Plan<\/strong> devised by General Casta\u00f1os.<\/p><p>After this, he would <strong>relocate to Catalu\u00f1a, where he is promoted to Field Marshal<\/strong>.
