Located in the Parador Avenue and created in honor of the Father of the Argentine Nation, José de San Martín, this square was inaugurated in the Festivities of 1994 with the name of Yapeyú (place of birth of the liberator of the southern American cone), in commemoration of his involvement in the Battle of Bailén. During that act and due to a proposal from the Honorable City Hall of Bailén, a twinning agreement was signed between both cities.
