Cerro de las trincheras (Trenches’ hill)

Between pastures surrounded by oak forests and granite bowls, this route runs through the central part of Mount Burguillos, meddling with the natural wealth of Sierra Morena. It runs through the spaces of the farm where the shepherd shelters the sheep, reaching the trenches’ hill as the end point of the route. Old trenches from the Civil War will appear before our eyes, built during the course of the Spanish Civil War by the Republican Side in a strategic enclave. From there you can see other points of interest on the public mountain, as well as other defensive constructions erected during the aforementioned conflict.
